Fun excursion with places to picnic

Excellent bird collection. Nice collection of items, including natural history, prehistory, and more recent developments. Fun activity for a couple hours. Nice cactus garden too.

Nice place to take my boys for a couple hours. My 8 y/o really enjoyed the Mastodon and the large bird exhibit.

Small museum, but loaded with charm and very interactive for children. This is the type of museum to bring you children too as it will keep them interested, and it is not too big to overwhelm them. Great exhibits. I loved the history.

Allow yourself adequate time - there's more to this place than you can imagine! I had only two hours to spend here, and spent it all just on one floor housing the History.

I went with my husband to see the dinosaur exhibit as well as their general displays of animals and birds. I enjoyed It all and spent nearly 2 hours there.

San Bernardino County is the largest in the (48 contiguous) States. so it has more geology. So it has more rocks. Beautiful rocks, in all kinds of colors, shapes and textures. They are very well displayed in one big round polyhedral dome. Not such big and expensive examples as you'd get in the Smithsonian. But if they were, keeping them... More

The tired displays haven't changed. This is the largest county in the United States. It is rich with history. The fact that unless you're a bird or butterfly lover there is little to see and do is perplexing to me. There are a couple of historical displays and of course the children's hands on (small building in back) exhibit. Unless... More

If you like museums that are not too big, this museum is for you. There is a building that has live animals for kids to see and touch. There are displays of different rocks/gems from the area. There is also numerous displays of the different animal specials native to the area. There is a display about how communication technology has... More

The standing displays are always interesting to look at, as are the occasional visiting ones. I also enjoy the festivals and things like train day.
