Scheduled for completion in Summer 2004, this unusually designed bridge, functioning as a sundial at one end and conveying a sense of weightlessness, connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

This bridge is worth a stop!!! It's really neat to show your kids how a sundial works and the view is lovely. Right next to the Turtle Bay Exploration Park too.

A friend told us about his, so we stopped by to see and found it far more interesting and incredible than described to us. We were there in June close to the Summer Solstice so the accuracy of the sundial was incredible. The walk across...More

Unfortunately, our visit ended up being on a day with over 100 degree temperatures, and we arrived at mid-day, so it was uncomfortably hot! But the area is beautiful spanning the Sacramento River, and the visitor center and surrounding area have a lot to see....More

This is a perfect example of how this city wastes tax money while at the same time neglects the infrastructure and security of the citizens

Travel Lodge, you get a voucher for a free breakfast at Lumberjacks, can not be beat, for a working persons budget. Clean and well kept place.
I'm a little confused, the attraction representative says all four answers are correct then states they are open 7 days a week 9-5. They answers state museum only open wed-spun. Which is it?

Sundial Bridge is not part of Turtle Bay Exploration Park. you can walk on the bridge anytime. There is no charge and at night the bridge is lit from under the bridge and the walk area is well lit and patrolled.
