Beautiful setting that has a foot bridge across the river. The entire loop is in excess 5 miles, flat on the south side, some hills on the north side.

This is a beautiful trail. Beware of wild animals and homeless people. Stay alert and be sure you can always hear if your wearing ear buds. Bicyclers seem to ride a little to fast so if you can't hear them coming up on you, they...More

This is a beautiful well paved trail along the river. I love it for jogging and biking. Unfortunately, there has been some criminal activity along the trail. I would not recommend going alone or defenseless.

I wish I brought my bike with me. We strolled for 2 miles on the river and saw river otters, fish, Kayakers etc. Definitely one of the best walking/jogging/biking paths in Northern CA.

We are so blessed to have such a beautiful trail by our beautiful river!I especially love the loop by the Dieselhorst Bridge, but there are many more miles than this slightly less than 6 mile stretch.

The Sacramento Trail is a true jewel of Redding Califorina town. It winds along the river up stream and down for miles while going past natural retreats, parks, Turtle Bay and the famous Sun Dial walking bridge. It is a must while visiting the area.
