This is a great entertainment venue and I highly recommend that you see your favorite entertainers, music group or play scheduled here. Most seats are good, no matter the price. Acustics aren't perfect for a large concert building, but does not detract from experience. I've...More

Had never been to the Redding auditorium, but pleased with our concert experience. Easy access parking, beer & wine outside in adjacent garden patio, great seating generally in a not too monstrous venue that had awesome sound. Joan rocked, and so does this place. We'll...More

We found there are no 'bad' seats in the house. We had a wonderful experience. Those who put on the sound did a wonderful job and the acoustics were terrific. The only drawback is the restrooms only are able to handle half the crowd of...More

The place is enormous but somehow retains the intimate feel of a small-town auditorium. The accoustics are excellent, so...More

If you enjoy old cars or bright shiny vehicles, Kool April Nites is here every April. It's a good show. The Civic is a good spot for it. Indoor and outdoor areas, plenty of room for food and shops, and sun, shade, and bathrooms.

Due to the very poor sound system, very uncomfortable seating I refuse to purchase tickets for any venue. There are several good entertainers that book at the Civic Auditorium and costs for their show can & usually are quite high. It is not the cost...More

This is a cocrete box that is showing serious wear and tear. The parking really needs attention and the lots need an overhaul. I avoid events held here.More

Hi Gnarfle23! Thank you so much for your feedback; we truly value it! We're sorry to hear you avoid events held at our venue. While some events such as expos may give off a "concrete box" feel, our building was specifically designed to be cave-like...More
