We visited this restaurant for my parents 70th wedding anniversary. The ambiance in the outside setting was great and the food and service match. Table side guacamole was outstanding. We will definitely return.

I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions, hosting two family reunion dinners and always enjoyed the environment, with mariachis, outdoor seating in a courtyard, and good margaritas. Large groups resulted in slow service on one occasion. Rating matters of taste is always difficult. The food is is decent, but not spectacular. I really go there for... More

We ate at this restaurant last night and will never go back. We were a party of 8 with 3 small children. We had a reservation for 6:45 and after waiting until 7:10 were seated at the very back of the restaurant near a raucous party of about 40 children and adults. We waited until 8:20 to be served. The... More

My wife and I often try to go to Las Casuelas at least once whenever we come to our place in Palm Desert. The food is usually good, and the patio is beautiful. (We don't care to eat inside, if we can help it.) Last night (Easter eve) was VERY busy, as one might expect, but that does not excuse... More

We were in a large group so that has to be taken into account. Service was great. The complimentary margaritas were good. The food was tacos and they were served in that american style hard shell or a flour based hard shell. The choices were fairly watered down versions of mexican originals: shredded beef, and chicken. I've never had a... More

Regular Mexican food. It seemed expensive for what was served. Service is adequate but not wonderful. This is a good place to take a family assuming they eat Mexican food.

Finding a reasonably priced and nice champagne brunch in the Coachella Valley is a rare find. Las Casuelas Nueva is one of them. We dined on the patio with perfect weather in the mid 80s which made it extra special. The buffet items were very adequate, loved the dessert selection, and the fellow at the omelet and carving stations was... More

Great margaritas and always a memorable (big) lunch or dinner here. Great outdoor patio and many great decorated rooms for indoors.
