As a teacher, and someone who loves local history, GBW is a hidden treasure. Visitors will learn about how our little town got it's name, learn about who has lived here or passed through. There is a lot of big history in our little town!

The kind of museum you go into and think, " I am in my great grandparents attic." Lots of old farming equipment outside. Maybe not worth a trip on it's own, but nice to include when In the area.

This building was built in the mid-1800s. It is a jewel here in Ramona. There are various events held here throughout the year. Always a fun time.

The museum is well maintained showcasing life during early settlement of Ramona. There is the mansion with furnishings of the time, kitchen, doctor's tools, clothing, a jail , blacksmith tools and much more.

Step back in time while visiting the Guy Woodward Museum. See what the early settlers did and how they lived when Ramona was first being settled.

The guide has a long history of involvement with the Woodwards and their home and now museum. She was quite knowledgeable and a true aficionado of its history. A lot of the furnishings are not original to the home but still add to the charm.
