About
The nature trail starting in Tilleorg valley runs along the floodplain for 4.5 km, passes coniferous forests and reaches Merioone spring. The landscape reserve situated in the headwaters of the Ahja River on the stretch between Tille and the Moksi windmill was established in 1957. The purpose of the reserve is to preserve the landscape’s integrity of the forest growing on the banks of the Ahja River, in its primeval valley, nearby valleys, hills and on the brinks of the valley – it is a real handicraft hall of nature. Interesting to know: People believed that Merioone spring reached the sea; this idea is also behind its name.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The trail is good, having different ups and downs to make it more interesting. It also has a nice spring near the sandstone cliff which has amazing water to drink. The ending of the trail is next to the big road, so be ready for that as well.
I loved the view and being in the nature, enjoying the birds songs and fresh air.
I would reccomend good sport-like outfit and be ready to take a few pictures with your phone.
I think it would take maximum 2 hours to finish, we walked for an hour and sat around for 10-20 minutes more.

This hiking trail offers a moderate amount of physical activity! Alternating landscape, boardwalks in some of the wetter areas, stairs, several resting areas. Nice walk about 1...1,5 hrs.
