Amado is red wine country, so it was a pleasant surprise to find a winery producing such high quality whites. Good resd, but the whites really stood out.

Really enjoyed the visit to this winery. Our server, Preston, was friendly, informative and an avid golfer! we had a great time there and Preston even recommended and got our dinner reservations...so helpful! The wines were excellent and we bought several bottles!

This winery was the highlight of my trip to Amador. We visited several wineries ,but Andis was my favorite. Friendly staff and professional. The Zinfandel was the best red we had, but don't forget to try the whites.

What a beautiful way to step back, take a deep breath and decompress. Stop by, taste a few great wines, either bring some nibbles or ask the great staff for a cheese plate, go outside, put on your sunglasses and sip on your wine while loosing yourself staring into the vineyard. I needed this today.

It's the Wandering Yank here. I had last been to Andis about 4 years ago, and since we were in Amador for the annual Crush event a couple of weekends ago, Mrs. Yank and I gave it another try. Yes, the view is very nice, and picnic facilities are plentiful, with shaded tables on the lawn. The tasting room is... More

Great wines, simple and smooth. First we were concern that the wines will be woody and high in alcohol, like the previous wineries we visit in the valley, but the modern building attract us and was a perfect discover. My favorite wines were the Cabernet Franc and the Grenache. If you come from a vacation in Europe, this is the... More

Lovely location slightly raised with views over the vineyard. The wines were OK and the service OK. $8, 8 wines. They were busy when we were there, so although friendly enough, we didn't get the attention that we have at other places.

Oh my goodness, what a delight this place turned out to be! The servers were knowledgable, down to earth & entertaining to boot. The wines were very tasty; feel in love with the Zinfandel 2013...yummy!

When you go to the wineries in Amador, don't miss Andis. This winery has modern architecture and is just lovely. The wines are excellent and reasonably priced. You can sit and relax, or play a little bocce ball while you enjoy the gorgeous view. Andis is unique and definitely should be included in any wine tasting tour.

Andis has been going through a wine identity crisis. The former wine maker left and they brought in a new one that likes to experiment. The wines became inconsistent. The former wine make has returned recently so we look forward to get back to consistently good wines. This last time we went was probably one of the worse tastings. I... More
