I did attend their wonderful wine release party this past October and was extremely pleased by the wide array of gem wines presented of which I tasted which were excellent. They provided small hor doerves and pasta salad to go along with the wines and decorated the private room elegantly. The staff were very friendly and professional and were knowledgeable... More

My college girlfriends were all trying to find a place to meet for the day and something fun to do. Luckily I found Ruby Hill Winery and the Mello Cielo bus tour. Mark took us on our tour and we learned all about the local history of the winery and the wine making process. I have been on many winery... More

Very nice location and relaxing grounds. The wedding was in the barrel room which was set very nice. Cocktails were in the courtyard over looking the grounds. Very friendly staff and great service. Dinner was very nicely done and the room had a romantic feel. Great venue for a wedding.

I was traveling to Pleasanton for work and had the late afternoon free one day. I knew driving to Sanoma would have been too far so I stumbled upon this winery/vineyard and was very happy. There was a large selection of wines and the tastings were plentiful and not very costly. The tasting room was also a little gift shop... More

Went on the wine bus tour for a friends birthday, what a blast! Cost was $30 as I'm not a member, we had 14 people so we filled the bus, taken into the vineyards, the storage facility, bottling room, an old water tower where we tasted cheese and wine pairings, all in all probably tasted about 12 or 15 wines,... Loved taking the wine bus through the vineyards and stopping for cheese and wine pairings. Great history and wine information from the tour bus driver. Must have 9 people to book the bus. Sitting outside sharing wine with friends along the vineyards was also nice.

Ruby Hill Winery was our last stop for the day of Livermore wineries. We arrived at 4:20 knowing there was a 5:30 closing time. But the staff treated us as if we were keeping them from way more important things. There was no conversation about the wines to be had, even when we asked specific questions. We asked about the... We stopped here mostly to get off the mess that is the freeway back to the South Bay as the traffic was crazy. It was a very pleasant surprise. We had the wine tasting and ended up buying 6 bottles of really tasty wine. There was a sale on the sparkling wine and the Chardonnay was just too yummy to... More
