I live in Lake County, CA and know that this site is at least 2 hours away. Should the website say this? It implies it is near Lake Co.

Is it a winding road in? Both of my children get car sick. We are heading that way from the Bay Area.

The road is winding yes , but you will only travel down it going 5 mph or less . They make two stops along the way. I have not heard of anyone getting car sick along the way and this will be my 44th year.
