About
Since 1919, the exquisite beauty and unique challenges of Pebble Beach Golf Links have electrified golfers and spectators alike. Designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, the course hugs California’s rugged coastline, providing wide-open vistas, cliff-side fairways and sloping greens. Over the years, Pebble Beach Golf Links has been the site of golf’s most prestigious tournaments such as the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and five U.S. Open Championships, including the 2010 U.S. Open. We are excited and honored to welcome back the U.S. Open to Pebble Beach for the sixth time in 2019!

    Best golf trip ever!
This place is everything you read about it and more. Put your phone away and enjoy spectacular scenery and some of the most interest golf holes anywhere. Pack a wind or rain jacket and club up 1 or 2 along the ocean!!

    Once in a life
This must do things in life. Sadly, during our day there was massive wind that made it a very challenging day. It's just something you need to prepare by the sea. The course conditions were good, the greens were slippery, and everything just worked perfectly. The marshal was extremely helpful and kept the round going in time. Pro shop was a nice experience, and the staff was super friendly.

    Dream trip for a golfer
There's a well known theme park that some people say is the happiest place on Earth. As a golfer, I can say that the Pebble Beach golf links area takes that title. My son, a friend and I played Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach. They share a common, wonderful practice area. I was giddy the first day on the practice putting green at Spyglass. I just knew that all the men putting and milling around were so happy to be there. Spyglass itself has a nice pro shop but is nothing the size of the Pebble Beach pro shop and stores. Spyglass was a wonderful golf course. My particular tip for playing Spyglass is to be aware of the rough which is thick and coarse. It wasn't too tall but it was extremely 'grabby'. Your usual chip shot effort will leave you well short of your intended distance. At the end of your round, enjoy a unique shoe cleaning. Of course Pebble Beach is iconic. I've visited Pebble Beach before. But this time, practicing on their putting green with the anticipation of playing the course was fantastic. Playing along the ocean was in my mind and affected my shots. When you get a tee time at Pebble Beach, they send you a link that includes tips on how to play the course. One tip that they give you is this - Know that the greens slope towards the ocean. Putting at Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach was the most difficult putting that I've ever encountered. So many times, you were sure that the green sloped away from the ocean but found that they did slope towards the ocean. But the degree to which this happened varied so I was never sure on how much break to play. Pebble Beach suggests that you get a caddie who knows the slope of the greens. Yes, Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill are expensive. But if you are an avid golfer, it's a dream of a lifetime.

Overpriced and overrated. Eventually this course will price itself out of business. Plenty of courses in the area to play. The only way this course will learn is if people dont play it.

I took a group of freinds to Pebble Beach for a golf vacation. We stayed in a cabin on the course. I spent over 25k on golf and accommodations on the trip. I bought a jacket in the pro shop. Since it was warm when I got home I did not wear the jacket until this fall. The zipper was faulty so I called them thinking it would be no problem to exchange it. Wrong they would not let me get another jacket. They offered me 30% off another jacket. I told them that was not acceptable. She told a manager would call me back. I never got a call back. It has really pit a bad taste in my mouth and I will never think about the place the same again.

Always w9ndered if it would be worth it. It was. Every single way shape and form, worth it! Spyglass and Spanish not to be missed. Can def skip delmonte unless you think of that as a driving range for the real rounds

This really is golf in heaven. The most beautiful course in the world and challenging as well. Definitely not overhyped.

Do walk the course. And get a forecaddie - you won’t regret it.

My two sons aged 13 and 8 played pebble beach as part of my 50th birthday road trip. We were able to get them single spots with other groups at short notice.

Super friendly in the club shop and especially Richard the starter who made my boys feel so welcome. There is a free shuttle bus for the very short drive to the Academy over the road from the Hay par 3 where there is a driving range and practice putting and chipping areas. Again super friendly there.

The course was as expected spectacular, especially 4 to 10 along the coast and 18, helped even more by my 8 year old getting a birdie on 5! Play was slow but there are worse places in the world to spend 5 hours plus.

Yes it's expensive but worth every penny(or cent!).

The slowest round of golf we have ever played. We waited on every shot. The guests who were playing Pebble Beach did not understand the etiquette of the game of golf - and their games were inadequate to play this type of course. We talked to one of the course rangers and he just said ‘welcome to Pebble’. It is just a money making machine with no regard to who plays and their capability. Avoid at all cost!
