The fair gets better every year, starting with the clean busses, pleasant drivers, to the drop off, they now are better with traffic control too. Inside the fair, it just feels safe. Nice fair, love seeing the animals and people watching. Plenty of staff to pick up trash, etc. Blake Shelton put on a great show, everyone was dancing in the seats. Really fun night.

We attended the annual Winemaker's tasting and cookoff event and enjoyed the evening very much. It is a walk-around outside venue, in this case with booths for the various wineries to offer their food and wine. Everyone was very social and the evening was a pleasant last night after nearly a week of tasting local wines.

Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, high quality wines, great pours and excellent, educated staff! Every wine in our tasting was excellent, and the wood fired pizza was the perfect addition to our stop. This stop was recommended to us, and it certainly lived up to the hype!

The event center is both an old time fair grounds, the site for the huge annual Midstate Fair, featuring big name concerts, 4H animal exhibits and competitions, horse shows and more. But throughout the year you may also want to visit other events of interest to you, including horse shows, home and garden shows, antique shows and more
