Adelaida Cellars' family owned vineyards include seven distinct properties totaling 168 acres in the craggy mountainous terrain of Paso Robles' Adelaida District. Only 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean on steep elevated sites, a diverse planting of 24 varieties with an emphasis in Rhônes, old vine pinot noir, dry farmed zinfandel, and mountain style cabernet sauvignon, our stressed vines produce low yields of precise flavor.

Our first stop in Paso and what a nice location. The wine is good and the service was as well. There is an understated beauty to his winery that I found refreshing and it is surrounded by walnut trees. The patio is great to have...More

We came here on a recommendation from another winery and it did not disappoint. The tasting room is spacious and beautiful. Our wine server was very friendly and gave a good background on each of the wines.

Stopped at this busy place and really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. The balcony overlooks their vineyards and adds a lot to the experience. Wine choices were very good...so much so that we joined the wine club. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon was our personal favorite....More

There is quite a difference between the "new" and the "old" tasting rooms. The laid back attitude is gone, replaced with a more business-like, professional approach. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the wines.

My husband and I visited Adelaida in 2013, and we loved it. Fast forward to 2017 with a new tasting room and new wines... not as great as it used to be. Sure, the new tasting room is beautiful. The wines are definitely a new...More
