On our way back to Arizona after visiting the Hearst Castle on Halloween, we did a quick stop at Tobin James which turned into a two hour tour! We loved the ambiance so much we decided to do a tasting. Unfortunately, we're sad to say we didn't get our server's name, but she was awesome and dressed as a TJ server lol!! All the staff was so welcoming and nice and most importantly we really liked the wine and are now members! Tobin James is a must stop when in Paso Robles. Also, a shout out to Ione, I hope Mr. and Mrs. Silver like the cake!

Wonderful tasting experience and service from Shelley, who made our time there so much more memorable. Great selection of wines to try and interesting gift shop.
Lot to choose from in Paso Robles, but make this one of those stops.

This was a nice stop during our tour of several wineries. They had decent wines at a good price point, and the $25 tasting charge was waived with a purchase, which wasnt hard to do. Our host was personable, and all in all we had a good time.

It's been a while, but excellent wines for reasonable pricing compared to other vineyards in the area. Fabulous old bar, and fun vibes. Right on the main highway so easy access, and plenty of parking. Go enjoy!

This is a happening place. It’s not a quiet mom and pop wine tasting. Lots of customers and lots of staff. Lots of wine choices. We liked some and bought a few. We were served by Marco and he was excellent! He has a good sense of humor and he is very knowledgeable. He worked hard to find wines that we liked. He was very familiar with their wines and very helpful regarding how to spend our time in Paso Robles. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The sommelier we had was extremely friendly and the tasting room has a nice lively vibe. You can taste up to an hour so if your point is to get a bit intoxicated this is the place and designate a driver. The problem is of the 4
Winery’s we visited on our trip to Paso this winery’s product was clearly the least interesting.

This winery was the first stop in our wine tour. And it ended up being the best by far. Enjoyed several great wines. Loved the service and atmosphere.

We were taken here by a friend, and it was the best wine tasting experience of the day, we were there in late October 2022. The person presenting the wines was great and made us feel right at home and very relaxed. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they tailored the wines to our preference remarkably well. It is well recommended.

So your only problem with this place is their Covid procedures? What about the wine, the atmosphere, etc.? When I have a negative review, I try to say something positive so it doesn't look like some personal anger issue ... I try to be balanced and give credit where it's due. Is there ANYTHING good about the place? We intend to go there in October. Thank you

Thank you for your question. We do love all of our furry friends, but we only can make exceptions for service dogs. We do have a large lawn area and a beautiful outdoor grotto to enjoy wine while you're with your pet.

We will be visiting SoCal with our daughter who will be 19 yrs old at the time of the visit. My husband and I would like to do a wine tasting in Paso. We are not sure what the protocol would be for this as daughter will not be of legal drinking age. Of course we know she could not be served wine, but could she even enter the tasting room area with us? Please advise. Thank You.

Yes, she is welcome in the tasting room. We serve a sparkling non-alcohol grape juice.
