This is a really unique setting and worth going to for that alone. The wine was very good as well, but the tasting pours were a little on the smaller size.

We go to Paso Robles wine tasting about 4 times a year. We love the Eagle Castle Royal Red wine. It is not available in stores so we always stop at the Castle. At this visit there were no cars in the parking lot but we heard music and laughing as we approached. We thought it sounded like a fun... More

Fun place to visit with kids as well as adults. Has a moat and everything! Beautiful interior. If you haven't been or can't afford to go to Europe...go here.

Eagle Castle is hard to miss as you drive by on the highway - the look drew us in - more fun than authentic - but still enjoyable. The tasting room is spacious and comfortable and the lady pouring was very personable. The wine is decent - not outstanding but certainly worth a stop - we particularly liked their 2007... More

somewhere fun to stop - something different - has a moat and all! huge doors, great spot for pics - nothing really "authentic" about it but something different than your typical winery.

The castle is beautiful both inside and out. That alone makes it fun to visit here. But we also had a good time w/the wine tasting and tried our first red zin. The wine was very good - a little pricey compared to wine from Fingerlakes in NY but that's to be expected. Overall we had fun and would come... More

Very pretty location, the wine was decent, not the best ever, but drinkable.

Everything about this place is like a poor imitation of a Disneyworld scene. The "moat" is filled with water dyed a silly aqua color, which alone is enough to indicate the low standards and poor taste to come. And then there's the cutout thing where you stick your heads through the holes to get your photo taken wearing a medieval... More
