If you are in Palo Alto you need to go to Stanford and walk around. Very pretty campus and you can spend just a few hours seeing all the beauty on the campus.

Great walking tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guides. There are many food options at tressider memorial Union.

Stanford is a beautiful University. The scenery around the campus is wonderful, one of the largest universities in the US. The old architecture is nice to examine, including the old church.

Shops have a good mix of brands yet it lacks variety in eating outlets I think. I loved Sigona's grocery. Enjoyed my lunch at Neiman Marcus Cafe- surprisingly good specials for the day. I was happy with the variety of shops all around.

We visited Stanford for the information session and the campus tour. Both were worthwhile, but with an acceptance rate of 5% you get the distinct impression that they're mostly just going through the motions.

Visited Hoover Tower this morning. They charge $3 to get into the tower yet offers no facilities to the visitors. Saw a mother running around with a young daughter looking for a bathroom. Wonder how senior citizens would handle the situation when nature calls. Also...More

You can easily just help yourself and do a self-guided tour. Otherwise participate in an official Campus Walking Tour and spend an hour with a student guide exploring the highlights of Stanford’s beautiful campus. A great... More
