April was a nice time to drive down this highway. The poppies were in bloom! Sunsets are also beautiful along this road.

Amazing scenery!! The mountains were so different from AZ. We had to deal with a terrible accident but were able to enjoy the scenery while that was taken care of.

This road will get you from point A (Palmdale) to point B (a destination in San Bernardino County). It is mostly a two lane road, one lane in each direction, with a few places where the road has been widened to three or four lanes...More

The 138 is not a bad hwy as some may think. Respect the road, no texting or drinking. Obey the signs & flow of traffic. Lots of history and great scenery. I enjoy the 138!

Pearblossum is not a quick route. I took it because I wanted to avoid the heavy traffic as you get closer to LA. It is a nice quieter alternative and you will probably save some time. Many parts are 50 MPH so keep that in... More
