Followed the GPS to Tahquitz Canyon. Felt that the signboard at the entrance was slightly misleading and we initially did not dare to drive in. After trying to locate another entrance, with no success, we asked around and were finally told to continue driving past...More

We took this short hike before 10am to beat the heat. It was easy, and went along a little creek, in partial shade. At the end was a nice waterfall where you can wade into the water to cool off. Great surprise!

This is a very nice and fairly easy hike. We encourage you to take this one early morning to enjoy a nicer weather and experience and avoid the heat which will automatically make it somewhat more strenuous. The canyon, the rocks and boulders are beautiful,...More

Hubby and I went for a day date here. Hiked the loop that wasn't too strenuous and played in the water on the hike back. We were wet to about knee high but it felt great!

This is a perfect hike in many ways - it is a stone's throw from Palm Springs itself, only costs $5 to enter, a decent 1.5 mile loop with great views of the town, a lovely waterfall and hummingbirds darting overhead. There, I have reviewed...More

A lite to moderate hike with cultural interruptive stops along the way. Beautiful water falls rewards at the end. Bring or wear your bathing suit and enjoy the refreshing pool with the falls cascading down to soothe your body.

Not handicap accessible on the trail, but the visitors center is still worth going to!
