No real signifance to local population or culture. A tacky house behind lots of water sucking ficus plants that should not be allowed in the desert.

If you have to see all things "Elvis", by all means go. But your money is better spent elsewhere, like a good restaurant

We just saw the outside of the house because it was late afternoon. I would not bother to pay for a tour inside judging by the outside.

Even if Elvis never lived here, this house is worth a tour. It's an incredible iconic Midcentury Modern architectural masterpiece built by and for the Alexander family. Elvis and Priscilla lived here for a year after their marriage and it's chock-full of Elvis memorabilia. The...More

Lots of Elvis memorabilia and a stunning architecturally interesting and important house. There's limited number of tours, so it's best to plan and book your visit. The house is apparently for sale, and it won't necessarily continue in its current form.

It is a step back in time. Even if not an Elvis lover (as I am), the architecture is something special to see. The 60's live in Elvis' Honeymoon Hideaway. The kitchen looks out of the Jetsons and the back glass walls lend to a...More

I went on this tour as it seemed a good chance to see the inside one of the landmark houses in palm springs instead of just looking over a hedge or wall which is how you view most of the homes on other tours. Two...More

As an Elvis fan loved the tour, pay on line for $30. In January about 16 with interesting tour guide, sit on couch and honeymoon bed. Great modern architecture of the 60’s, all in soaring roof and a circle kitchen in center. Many photos of...More

You can take your time and spend an hour or so, or you can get it over with and quickly look around and leave. It is up to the guests.
