We visited before but had no time to walk all of the trail. The visitor centre is informative and there are clean toilets there. The hikes are well signposted (which I love, because we often get lost). On a sunny day you would do well...More

Stop and take in the wonderful surroundings. The landscape is beautiful. Between the flowers, desert and mountain range, the view is stunning.

We had a brief afternoon visit there in our travels around Palm Springs. Enjoyed a short hike on the well-marked attractive nature trails in this desert park. The visitor center was clean with interesting exhibits and well-staffed. Would have like to send more time there.

Get maps and information about this beautiful area - 4 hiking trails, 2 are only open from Oct - Dec as they are bighorn sheep habitats. Wonderful 45 minute film on the monument.

Go here. Grab great photos, maps and walk through the outdoor gardens. Very clean public restroom fun activities and lots of little freebies for the kids.

I have hiked in these mountains for many years. The trails can be challenging but the views and scenery are worth the effort. The easy was is to take the Palm Springs Tram.
