We usually do a food walking tour when we arrive in a new destination so we get a sense of the local history and exposure to interesting food establishments. The Desert Tasty Tours didn't disappoint. Our guide Ginny was a local and knew the area well. We sampled 7 different foods from olive oil/ vinegar vendor to pizza to indulgent... More

Had a wonderful few hours in Palm Springs with Kevin as our guide!! Really enjoyed the food and stories. Only thing we would have changed is maybe going to another locally owned business rather than a chain like Hard Rock. Would highly recommend and would do it again!!

Kay was great in sharing about Palm Desert and about each place we went to ... the tastings were great, the hosts were so welcoming to us. We had a great time. Great way to entertain friends! Always a great way to get some history of the area and try the local food. Our Tuesday tour went to six places and had minimal amount of waking compared to some city food tours. We even got alcohol at two spots and two places had dessert items. Afterwards you had discounts to go back and use at your convenience.

We went on the Palm Canyon tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Kevin, was amazing and added lots of information on the history of Palm Springs as well as the restaurants. A great way to spend 3 hours.

My husband and I went on this food tour. Went to 6 locations. Great food and drink. Arnie was our tour guide and he was great. Highly recommend. After the tour we went back to one of the restaurants for happy hour! Almost too much food!

My husband and I loved the Desert Tasty Tour on El Paseo hosted by Kay this last week. Kay took us to six different places over a 3-hour period. The food, drinks, company (there was one other couple on the tour), and information that Kay shared about the local area was just perfect! Each place was extremely accommodating to our... More
