This place is awesome during Christmas and if you have kids they would enjoy it. We have been coming here for the past 7 years with my in laws and have made it a tradition and look forward to it every year.

There were animals in the zoo. But what I found astounding was the wealth of flora that can abound in the desert. Those cacti were beautiful, weird, and wonderful.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Some unusual animals for us East Coasters and the giraffe interaction was such a treat!
