We stayed across the street at a great B&B. Each morning we would grab a cup of coffee and walk over to see the sunrise. It was a wonderful way to begin the day.

The truth of the matter is: bus loads of tourists are dropped off several times per day at this point, and that is not real appealing to Lovers looking for that romantic site to pitch n woo. However... Sunset brings a whole new vibe to...More

Free to the public, great (free) parking on the street and plenty of room to walk, make cairns, pull out your easel and paint or just plain people-watch. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it. It's easy to kick your shoes off...More

Good food and service. Easy location and nice window seat. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for the area. Clam chowder was not the best I've had but good. Salmon was great!

This is a lovely park in Pacific Grove near restaurants and the bike/ walking path into Monterey. Good parking though an easy walk from Centrella Inn

Two very small beaches below a park with beautiful cypress trees. The beaches were very quite with maybe two other couples on them

A nice little spot to sit and look out over the Monterey Bay. Very popular strolling place along the strand with a very small protected beach / play area especially loved by kids.

We were able to roll our kayaks (with wheels) across the street from our hotel, Lovers Point Inn, and launch them right into the bay. Enjoyed watching whales and dolphins right from our kayaks. Amazing experience.

It's like a postcard - fantastic views of the ocean and Monterey. Avoid summer weekends, tour buses stop here and there are way too many people for my taste.

Lover's Point is known for a carpet of stunning, bright pink ice plant. I did a little research and learned that it blooms between early April through the end of May.

I was just there this week end. I really don't know about taking a BBQ onto the beach but the nice park just steps up from the beach has built in BBQ's. The park has great ocean views and is just steps from the beach.

Not sure whether this is regarding Lover's Point but if it is, it's a public area so accessible to the Public, 24/7.
