Great little zoo

A great little zoo and quite close to Anaheim. Perfect for the kids! It can be walked through in about 45 minutes! Highly recommend. The kids loved the beaver, bear and cougars!

A cheap few hours out at $2 each and under 2's free! A nice little petting zoo full of goats and a section to feed some animals. Also a great selection of lions, bears and other animals.

I've been to some pretty serious zoos in my life (National Zoo in D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego, and others), but this one was an absolute delight!! The zoo is totally kid friendly and includes a petting area where visitors can even feed the goats! It's the perfect size for an hour's worth of fun, and includes a little something... More

It is a very nice little local zoo. We have been there several times and we don't even have kids. It is always a great experience.

Lions and Bears, oh my! After a $2 each entrance fee, we walked through this pint sized, shady zoo that had local reptiles and animals. Several rattlesnakes and spiders, pacing mountain lions, coyotes, a bear and a bald eagle made the zoo interesting. No monkeys. The farm friendly petting zoo was lots of fun for my grandchildren. The small goats... More

This zoo has a nice selection of snakes, birds, mammals and more! I was surprised to find bob cat, coyote and mountain lions as well as a bear in a zoo this size. The zoo enclosures are not large, so the kids can see the animals quite easily. There are some clever graphic educational displays as well, which the kids... More

We love the perfect sized zoo ducked away in Ervine Park. The beautiful surroundings have something for the young and old. It was a perfect day of visiting the zoo, playing at the playgrounds, walking and having a picnic.

The Orange County Zoo is a beautiful little gem nestled among the trees in Irvine Park. If you arrive early, you can watch the zoo keepers feed the ocelot (around 10:30 AM) and watch mountain lion activity (e.g., feeding and training) at around 11:15 AM. I was particularly interested in seeing the ocelot, bobcats, mountain lions, and the black bear.... More
