Came by this winery to do a wine tasting. They let you taste 6 wines for $15 which is not refunded if you buy any bottle of wine. A bit stingy but oh well. We tasted 2015 SANGIOVESE - Great, fruit forward- bottle sells for $32, 2017 PINOT NOIR - Soft mouth, lingering - sells for $36, 2013 BIG BREAK GSM - was just OK - sells for $28, 2015 MONTEPULCIANO - recently bottled, full nose, a bit buttery and silky smooth finish - sells for $26. This winery is situated in Fallbrook, CA, not in Oceanside. The tasting room is a big home which looks over the nice San Diego Co. To get to, you drive up this uphill one-way road. We met the winemaker who is very approachable and friendly. He answered all of my questions. So much to see in this area. If you visit right now on his tasting room menu there's only 2 wines that are estate grown. All others, grapes are from other nearby wine producing areas. Only reason I didn't give this winery 5 stars was because they don't refund the $15 tasting fee if you buy bottles of wine and because of the server, not the owner, did not offer more information about the wines. Wow...what a find and we are so glad that we made the trip! Late in the day we called first to make sure it would work out. The wines were really nice and we bought a wonderful red to take with us to our final destination. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Planning a return visit as soon as we can travel again!…

We had a wonderful time at Beach House Winery! We felt very welcome and taken care of. We had a wine tasting and enjoyed both the wines and the fantastic views very much. In our taste the Sauvignon Blanc and the Barolo were the best. We would have wanted to buy a whole crate of wine with us!…

At the time of writing, this place has only 21 reviews, but almost 90% of these are "excellent" with NONE saying poor or terrible. It needs more reviews because it really was a lovely experience. As one of our party was in a wheelchair they very kindly let us use the members area (which was otherwise empty at the time, tho others arrived sometime later), which really only saved us having to walk down a little way to a slightly lower level, but it did make for a slightly better viewpoint of the spectacular view. The cost of the tasting seemed expensive (to me) at first, but hey - we're on holiday - and I wasn't disappointed. The food we chose was every bit as delicious as the wines (none of those present know much about grape juice) and despite the wonderfully civilised surroundings and service, we had a wonderful time and a few laughs along the way ;)…

I sampled six bold red wines and bought a case of 2013 Malbec, partly because of the wine quality and partly because a case was 40% off! Very nice wines. Only suggestion is to consider lowering the tasting cost or increasing the number of wines in the tasting. You can buy a full generous glass of wine for significantly less than the tasting cost. There is limited parking here. The view back toward the coast is high and wide! Great couple that are the owners! Very friendly! …
