I’ve been to a ton of breweries in the past couple years and Black Plague blows doors on the rest. They always have the best parties going on and of course amazing beer. Do yourself a favor by following them on Instagram and making yourself available for all their shenanigans.

This is a must visit if you in the area - great to see a brewery take a theme and run with it. The decor inside this large brewery is really cool with plenty of well thought out places for great photos. Very friendly staff and a good varied selection of beer. There was food available too and it looks like there must be live music at weekends - really enjoyed our visit so much we brought the T-shirt

Due to the name I was a little skeptical when I saw where we were meeting up this month. The decor and pictures fit the name! No doubts once I got in there this place is awesome! I met up with a few friends that try and meet at a different brewery every month. There is plenty of room inside for large or small groups, the bar is very large and I am told they pump cold water through pipes exposed on the bar top where you can set your beer to keep it cold! The staff that I spoke with were very helpful and helped some of our group choose what beer they thought they would enjoy. The interior, and exterior were kept very clean, this included the restroom. I saw employees walk through the dining area twice in the hour that I was there cleaning up the tables. My choice of beer was the day walker a Irish Ale and it was very good, one beer I wanted to try but had to leave was the Samoas (not sure of the spelling) a couple people in my group had that and raved about it.....Oh well a excuse to come back! I highly recommend this place!

This was our first visit to Black Plague Brewing. The theme is really great, the decorum fits as does the names for some of their craft beers, and they have a very good selection of craft beers. The service was excellent. Being tourists, not sure if we will make it back this trip but if we lived in the area, think it could become a regular "haunt" for us.

This place is legit. There are a million options for craft beer in San Diego/North County and this place hits on all of the positives. Great beer, cool atmosphere and originality. Good for friends, family and dogs. Would recommend to anyone.
