This is a nice sized city lake with walk (undergoing renovation), number of lakeside restaurants, fountains, boating. It was cool and windy in May, but I imagine it's very busy in the summer months

Usually i am calmed by any body of water but the lake is beautiful at night when the lights are switched on. You can walk around and feed the ducks.

This place unlike San Francisco was not overrun by tourists. On a sunny day in May, this was a lovely walk. Not commercialised, child friendly and for locals. Picturesque and peaceful.

There is plenty of water in the Bay Area, yet this small lake provides both a beautiful and relaxing space. Birds and unusually intricate trees graze the place. A walk around the lake is a pleasure.
