My wife and I were at APPLE ANNIE's for a birthday breakfast she had so been looking forward to. And....it did not disappoint! Just super. I will start with that the remodel is almost complete and the place looks great with the extended patio and new store fronts. The family will be taking over the candy store area and is also putting in an ice cream parlor. We sure look forward to that when the permits are completed. Beautiful upgrade. My wife's chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy was the best ever. It is our standard to judge others by. We were so glad to see some of the old staff still there after the pandemic shutdown, the Apple Fire and the remodel. They had a huge craft fair going on there today with the area doing pick your own apples in the orchards, and what a disappointment that some careless people apparently started the new El Dorado Fire that is threatening the whole village. Hundreds of people up there having to be evacuated. Tragic. We did manage to get a 5 lbs. "Mile High Apple Pie" (with a crumb top) this last visit. That is a must do there. We will sit tight today and hope our super firefighters get it done once again and preserving the area. They are the best.

The Village at Oak Glen was a nice surprise when we were just out exploring the area one day. Its a quaint park like setting with shops, food and even animals for the kids to see. It would be a good way for a family to have an hour or so of fun.

Went there on a Sunday morning. There is 14 acres of neat stuff. They have animals, shops and eating places. There is a lot of things to do for the whole family. I would highly recommend visiting this place.
