The boat left from Balboa Pier so we had a look round some of the tourist shops to pick up some souvenirs for the kids before the boat left. We could see it was a popular tour so staked a place in the queue fairly early on. It was just as well we did because it did get really busy... More

We went on the whale watching tour back in October. We weren't sure we were going to go so I didn't make reservations. I called early the morning we were going to see if there were still spots available, I was told yes, but she told me I couldn't reserve over the phone. We were staying in Anaheim and made... More

This was our 2nd time taking a whale watching tour. We were excited to come back. We had an amazing time on a sunset cruise and happened to come upon a HUGE pod of dolphins. They were literally surfing alongside of us. The captain was amazing and very interactive with us. We can't wait to go back!

This does not compare favorably with the one we did in Alaska. When you're on the top of the boat for viewing, you don't hear the naturalist's narrative. There was no discussion of the areas we passed. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales, but we did see a pod of several hundred common dolphins and stayed with them for... More

My friend and I took our son's whale watching. It was such a great experience. Seeing all the marine animal life, the beautiful homes near the wharf, and being in the open water with the sea breeze on our face was an experience I'll never forget. The staff was amazing and did their best to make our journey as special... More

We seen a whale. He was a 15 foot juvenile humpback. He was kind enough to show us his fluke. We also seen over 1000 dolphins.

A most excellent day trip and well worth every penny! My daughters and I were staying in Beverly Hills but wanted to see as many places as we could in 2 weeks and this trip was fantastic. The guides on the boat were friendly and knowledgable and we saw 2 magnificent blue whales along with 100's of dolphins! It wax... More

Had a great idea to go whale watching. Went out on their new boat only to clear the bay and turn around due to engine problems. Once back at the dock they offered a refund to those who wanted one or for those still wanting to go out, they put us on their older boat. Went out, didn't see any... More

Cool experience! Will definitely do it again. Of course it depends on the weather and the whales if they are in the area or not. We had one humback whale staying close to boat for maybe 10 mins, it was really impressive. We saw some seals also on our way back. The view and fresh air are great too!

If you get motion sickness, do not go on this boat without first taking medicine!! Many people threw up in the rough ocean waves! Thankfully, I get sick for everything, so my whole family had taken meds first. We sat inside the cabin and still had to hold on to stay seated! They serve burgers and drinks inside too, cash...
