Good wine, expensive, feels like your in Vegas

Deric was a great host, thank you. The wine is very good but expensive; it's Napa....dah!! The winery gave me the feel of being in Las Vegas. Coincidentally, a helicopter happened... read more

We stopped in here for perhaps 30 minutes and shared a flight of 3 wine tastings (plus a complimentary one). We didn't like the set of 3 pairing they had listed but the guy said he could do any combination so we took him up on the offer. It was a little pricey but the place is so pretty that... More

These wines were outstanding. We bought 2 bottles so the tasting fee was waived. The young man who poured for us was friendly, knowledgeable and introduced us to Mr. Darioush, who happened to be on the property that day. He was also quite gracious. The Persian architecture is interesting and different;not your typical wine valley tasting room. Highly recommend a... More

Best wines in the napa valley! The tasting experience is one of the best. The barrel tasting and private cellar tour was amazing!

We visited here on the advice of good friends and they are still good friends. The Persian architecture is impressive and, I'm sure, unlike anything else in Napa Valley. We had never had their wine before and just fell in love with a few but particularly their Chardonnay. That's saying a lot because I am a "red wine guy". The... More

Of course you get said invitation by forking over $150 per person, which is a lot, but was worth it in our opinion. The winery itself is beautiful, get there early to have a look around. Chris was our guide and did a great job (he has a gift with learning names!). The first pairing was in the lounge with... More

My boyfriend arranged the invitation only tasting and it was absolutely amazing. Chris was our host and made us feel incredibly special and welcome. He is extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful ambassador for this winery. The pairings were perfect (and this comes from a person who is not really a wine fan). We are very much looking forward to our... More

Read the story.... it's amazing. Two brothers immigrated (escaped) from Syria/Iran and started a new life in the USA. Thanks to their successful grocery business, they later started Darioush, named after Darius the king of Persia in 500 BCE. The wines leave you wondering why you ever drink anything else. Go see for yourself.

We booked an advanced wine and food pairing and tasting. We were welcomed by the concierge at our arrival and then escorted by our tour guide to a private living room. There we were given chardonnay from the recent release. While the tour guide gave us a brief history of the winery we sipped on wine. It was lovely. We... More

Deric was a great host, thank you. The wine is very good but expensive; it's Napa....dah!! The winery gave me the feel of being in Las Vegas. Coincidentally, a helicopter happened to land on the front lawn during our visit. That just added to the Vegas vibe. Worthy of a trip. At least for a few great pictures.

Wow! An over the top experience. Darioush was the first winery we visited in Napa and it set the standards extremely high. Darioush put extreme thought, time, and money into this winery. Part of what makes it so special is that Darioush shares his Iranian and Persian heritage with all of us. The large pillars both inside and out, the... More
