Had a wonderful time. Matthew was great and the walk into the vineyard was a nice treat. We even had a chance to sample fruit left on the vine. Amazing how great it tasted. The wine experience was a joy and we loved the Cab and 2014 old vine Pinot. Just awesome!

My wife and I are just back from our first trip to the Napa Valley. Truchard Vineyards was one of four tours that we took during the trip. All were great in different ways but we loved our Truchard experience because it was so intimate - and also because the wines were delicious! We requested a reservation via the Truchard... More

Although we bought 12 bottles of wine, Matthew made us feel bad that we did not buy the expected 1 case per person. This expectation was never mentioned when we made our reservation for 4 couples to have a tasting and tour. We loved the tour, and even Matthew. The end was awkward and an unusual experience after traveling to... More

After reading a Wine Spectator article online that recommended Truchard Vineyards, we looked it up on TripAdvisor and immediately decided to make a reservation. Matthew Fitch couldn't have been nicer as we exchanged emails to set a date and time. We knew we would like it here when we pulled in and saw a "kitten crossing" sign. We were a... More

Tasting included quick trip into the vineyard and history of the area. Nicely educational without being boring, or stuffy. Wines are fantastic and very reasonable.

If you visit Napa and you only have 1 place to see then without hesitation call and make your appointment to Truchard Vineyard, 707-253-7153. This boutique vineyard is quaint, lovely, has his own personality and you'll see the owners working and walking around all the time. Suzanne one of the owners took the time to sit and chat with us.... More

My husband read on a Wine Blog that Truchard Vineyards was definitely a place to visit (tour and taste) while vacationing in Napa. He definitely steered us correctly. It is a smaller family owned winery experience. Reservations/appointments are required. We were greeted by Matt who provided us a tour of the property and a wine tasting. We also got to... More

Matt was our host and he made the tour and tasting a real pleasure. The winery is a small one and I've found that the small by appointment only ones are the best. We toured the fields and ate grapes off the vine. We went into the cellar and learned about the wine being stored and above all we learned... More

We visited here for the second time. It is a small and very personal tasting. As you enjoy your wine tasting, you walk the vineyards and caves and interact with your guide. In this case we had Mathew, and he was very passionate about his job and the winery. We even were able to sample grapes from the vine. Towards... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and trading. An added bonus was that we were shown around by Anthony Truchard II. He told great stories and poured us some great wine.
