We visited 6 vineyards for tastings while in the Napa area. O’Brien was by far the most enjoyable. Very personal tasting and some of the best wine we had. A must see!

O’Brien was the first winery visit of our trip, and it set the bar quite high for the rest of our stops. Luis was an outstanding host, and it was very nice of Bart O’Brien to come out and introduce himself as we tasted his...More

The vineyard was beautiful with a late fall harvest underway. We had the entire vineyard to ourselves and enjoyed the excellent wine. The cab is great this year

My sisters, mom and I visited O'Brien last week as part of a three vineyard private wine tour. It was simply amazing. The property is beautiful as were all the wines we tasted. We learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended.

This Vineyard tasting experience was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. On recommendation from friends who also loved the winery we made reservations to attend a tasting. It’s a small family owned winery and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The...More

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.
