We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $55.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

Jason Craig was the consummate Wine Ambassador. He kept us laughing and tasting on our late May Napa trip. I would have purchased so-so wine from him. But that's not what they sell. With wines named Seduction, Passion of the Soul and Romance of the...More

This review is long overdue, but my wife and I had an amazing visit to O'Brien. The setting was terrific, and Jason Craig provided us with exceptional service. We were seated out back with a great view and Jason would stop by, visit with us...More

My friend (who is a guy) and I visited O'Brien Estate Winery, having no idea it is more of a romantic place for wine tasting! We are only friends, but Jason our wine ambassador thought we were together. He was telling us the romantic history...More

Hands down this is my favorite winery in the Napa valley. We are novice wine connoisseurs and Luis provided an incredible tasting experience. We spent over 2.5 hours talking with him about the vineyard, the wines, and the Napa/Sonoma area in general. He was such...More

We pulled up to a residential estate, Uber left and we were told we couldn't stay because they weren't "like other tasting establishments, they are at a residential location." They offered us a nice glass of Chardonnay as we waited for our Uber to turn...More

We couldn't partake because it's by appointment only and they only do 2-3 a day... he was nice enough to give us one taste though. NEXT!

We are staying in Yountville in May. Do we need to book tastings in the town or do we just walk in? Also should we book winery tours outside of the town.

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.

Hello ! I am visiting San Francisco from Sydney in October 2016 with a friend, we are both Vegan and would absolutely love to plan a day trip to the Napa and Sonoma Wine Regions to visit Vegan wineries =) I loved reading your review of O'Brien Estate Winery ! Could you please send me any information about this winery and other Vegan wineries to visit in the region, and ideas for transport, as it will be just the two of us and we have never visited the area before. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, and enjoy your week =) Kate
