We went on a lunch train. Had been hesitant at booking as seemed expensive but really enjoyed it. The staff go out of their way to make you feel really pampered and it is a relaxing way to view the Napa valley scenery. The only...More

Food on the train was excellent and so was the staff. They give you just the right amount of time at each stop. Would definitely recommend.

With numerous options available we went with the snacks one way and lunch the other and we were both very satisfied. From the moment we checked in we knew it was going to be a great experience - comfortable surroundings, no rushing - very well...More

Travelled on the wine train in early May; it was well organized, great and easy way to see the Napa Valley. Service and food was great.

We were on the new "Legacy" tour. The food was amazing! The train was beautifully restored, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. A fun way to visit the more well-known wineries. Highly recommend!

Did the Quattro vino tour with my parents and sister for her 21st birthday. We got to visit four wineries (mondavi, Krug, merryvale, and v sattui). The timing was well paced and they served each course of food between each winery stop which was great...More

One of the most unique, relaxing and comfortable journeys we have experienced! It was like being transported back to a time when luxury travel by rail was the best way to travel. The trip was well planned from start to finish. First, after boarding we...More

The idea is lovely, and the promotional pictures are promising, but unfortunately, the experience fell rather short of either. The food was average at best considering what we paid - over $250 each - and the windows of the vista dome were dirty, obscuring the...More

We did casual dress, as did virtually everyone else, and it perfect. It was a bit cool\rainy that day but warmed as the time passed. Perhaps keep arms covered or take a light sweater.

Can someone please confirm that passengers are seated at private tables in the Quattro Vino tour? I found this - The vintage interior features two rows of brown leather love seats with plush, navy backs, each paired with a table for dining. Is this table just for one couple or is it shared with another couple?

It depends on how many people are on the train. Very often they put you with other couples.
