This trail is convenient for quick jogs and hikes when one does not have time to go to a more rustic trail. One can get to shoreline park on the trail from an access point close to downtown Mountain View and can also get on to it from El Camino so it is convenient. However, one will be going mostly... Steven's creek trail has a very nice route to the bay (around 10k). Sometimes the paths are a bit narrow but most of the time either bikes and pedestrians have enough space. You should leave the trail before the sun goes down because there is no light at all.

Love running or just walking on this trail. It is paved and easy to use with several entry points in Mtn View. Its great to enjoy the lovely sunshine and beautiful CA days on this trail.

Just across the road through the park it was my walking haven.A little patch of trees at their natural best collecting pine cones seeing enthusiastic cyclists and walkers made my morning.

This trail is a lovely spot, and follows what is currently a rushing creek. Eucalyptus trees, pine trees, birds and scenic bridges make it a pretty environment. (Unfortunately there is flooding in the area right now and part of the trail is closed, but that is a rarity I'm sure.)

Excellent running trail from Sunn yvale to Mtn View and then connect to the SF Bay Trail to head to all points north. What a gem! Water stops every 3 miles or so and I felt safe running from 6-25 miles alone.

Best to ride in the daylight. I have done this with my family for years. Love that they keep expanding it. If you take the dirt trail past the side of the bridge over the hwy 85, you will see another side of Mountain View. There is a large homeless population which lives between the creek and the sound wall... More

You can walk on the Stevens Creak trail and almost feel in the woods. It takes you through Mountain View and over to the bay, crossing freeways with grace.

It was at first a bit difficult to actually access the trail but once we did find it off of Evelyn and highway 101, it was beautiful and scenic. It appeared to be popular with joggers and bicyclists as well as walkers. I especially liked the bridge over the railway and highway- quite a scene when the train went under... More

Plenty of runners and bikers. Good for an easy evening stroll. Not as picturesque as other Bay area hikes.
