Nice trail to walk on with a dog and helps to avoid walking along El Camino when walking from Sunnyvale to Mountain View. There are lots of places to get off the trail along the way so you can visit different areas. I generally walk...More

It's a great corridor through town (in the daylight). Great for biking to work and avoiding the worst of the street traffic. Although, in the winter when it gets dark earlier, it gets real DARK, too dark to ride home even with a bike light....More

The trail is beautiful, used by fast and slow bikers, walkers and runners. Where the trail goes over the highway and Central Expressway, it gets really steep and obviously very fast on the downward ride. People were pretty observant about approaching traffic, but those going...More

Excellent trail for biking, walking, and bird watching. Come when it is storming and listen to the wind - wear your rain coat!

Good trail for easy cycling. Be careful for pedestrians or runners with headphones once cycling. Too bad at the end of the trail at the bay the roads turn into dusty unpaved roads.

This trail is convenient for quick jogs and hikes when one does not have time to go to a more rustic trail. One can get to shoreline park on the trail from an access point close to downtown Mountain View and can also get on...More

Steven's creek trail has a very nice route to the bay (around 10k). Sometimes the paths are a bit narrow but most of the time either bikes and pedestrians have enough space. You should leave the trail before the sun goes down because there is...More

I really would not recommend letting your children run on this path. There's a lot of running and cycling traffic which may not be safe for them. On the other hand, there are plenty of parks that are adjacent to the path... More
