Whether you bike, walk, or skateboard this trail offers a lot of local nature and changes with the seasons. Currently (June 2018) we have coyote sightings, snakes, and an overabundance of Matilija poppy bushes.

Too close to the highway to really enjoy nature. I can see this as being a great jogging trail, but don't expect a quiet, serene hike.

It's very nice being able to ride a bike from Sunnyvale to the Bay! I especially loved the bridges and geocaching along the way.

My daughter & her young family lives 5-min walk away from this wonderful trail. Whenever I visit I’d take my grandchildren and walk/cycle for on this trail. With mild temperate climate and this outdoor pursuit...life is good 👍🏿! Love the outdoors- looks this trail ...there’s...More

This would be a great walk if it were not for the rude cyclists. This trail is used by Tech workers to ride bikes to work. The vast majority of these people do not follow the rules. Maybe 1 in 20 give warning that they...More

This trail winds along a creek bed, over highways, and around buildings. Really nice to have a place to get in a run considering the traffic everywhere else. The trail is highly utilized. The downside is the trail for the most part is not picturesque...More

The trail takes you through the woods, past NASA Moffet Field and out to Shoreline Park and the south San Francisco Bay. Lots of wildlife to observe.

Even though it is just a trail, it takes you to areas that are more or less hidden from the normal streets.

I really would not recommend letting your children run on this path. There's a lot of running and cycling traffic which may not be safe for them. On the other hand, there are plenty of parks that are adjacent to the path... More
