My son suggested we try the natural hot Springs spa in Grover State Park on a recent visit to Tahoe. Having never been before, I was pleasantly surprised by how there was no sulfur odor that I expected. A lovely cool pool to dip into...More

This is a decent way to spend an hour. It is a really nice feature to find in a State Park. There is a large hot pool and a larger swimming pool which is colder but still somewhat heated. The air here is always fresh...More

We went on Dec 24th. Nice short hike to the waterfalls. Very pretty in winter. The hot springs facility left things to be desired. Small changing area and single shower. Make sure you go to the inlet to feel the incoming water.

We stopped off at the Grover Hot Springs while visiting the area. Absolutely stunning area. We took a nice soak in the pools and enjoyed the scenery and beauty of this historic place.

Folks on horses getting in the park from outside (without paying most probably), bringing in unleashed dogs to run around and chase and bark at hikers makes the park unpleasant to visit. They should have a stricter policy about horses and loose animals. We were...More

A Good Introduction to a Hot Spring and Mineral Water Soak First, this is not cheap at $10 per person. And, it's not very “natural” in that it's two man-made swimming pools, one with cool water and the other a “natural” warm pool. But, it's...More

The hike cannot be shortened as it is a straight trail to and from the waterfall. I cannot recall the exact distance, but my daughter did it when she was 4 years old. We hiked it this summer and I want to say that it is 4-5... More

There are spaces right at the pool yes. But they fill up first. There is a ranger on the gate who diverts you to the further away parking. Any reasonable ranger would let you head up to the ranger parking spot at the pool
