We spent well over an hour here enjoying the exhibits. It's a very nice explanation of the history of Mariposa and the local area. We liked the exhibits showing how people lived over a century ago.

Worth the stop to go through this museum. Great collection! We really enjoyed it. Loved the Dear Charlie letters...priceless! Also the grocery store...amazing!

Very nice museum right off of the main street in Mariposa. Great history of the gold rush in the area. Shouldn't be missed if you're interested in that time period.
