Our Santa Ynez Valley winery tasting room offers one of the Central Coast’s most comfortable and comprehensive visitor experiences, including daily winery tours and extensive picnic facilities. Archive photos and other artifacts chart the Firestone family’s pioneering heritage, from turn-of-the-century tire innovation to the establishment of Santa Barbara County’s first estate winery in 1972. The recently remodeled tasting room features an island bar and picture windows that overlook our estate vineyards. We strive to offer an informative and welcoming atmosphere that will appeal to wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Our free daily tours guide you through the history of the winery, and through the production of fine wine from vine to glass. Tours begin at the demonstration cork tree and continue out into the estate vineyards. The winemaking process is then showcased from the crush pad to the fermentation cellar to the barrel cellar. Tours typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the volume of guests and depth of questions. Tours depart daily at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

My husband and I met wine tasting in this region and he proposed here at Firestone. Such beautiful scenery. I know many visitors like to go to tasting rooms that offer wine that they can't find in their local grocery/ wine store. I get that...More

Good wine. Beautiful setting. Great outdoor area for picnicking while enjoying a glass of wine. Reasonable tasting fee. Staff not too friendly.

Yes, it used be owned by and still carries the name Firestone, tires that is. Now, having been sold to the Foley group of wineries, it remains in its beautiful location on Zaca Station Road. A drive among the vines leads you up the hill...More

We visited Firestone last month on a Saturday for wine tasting and met up with some friends while there. This winery is too big, too commercial, and too crowded for our taste. We felt like one of many, no charm, no personal attention, elbow to...More

We just visited Firestone for the first time in a while last week. The grounds and property are scenic, with a good view of the valley. They offer a daily tour of the production facility and the barrel room that is well worth taking. The...More

Great winery but we didn't see Andrew there. This was our first stop on a limousine tour to some of the wineries. Beautiful property, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great wines. It doesn't get much better than this.

This was our second stop on a three stop wine tasting day. While the property and facilities were beautiful, the wine was not for me. I know different people have different palettes, but there wasn't a single wine on the tasting menu I would have...More
