We visited here shortly before Christmas 2020. There is plenty of free parking available on Venice Boulevard. After that it is a short walk to the canals. Dell Avenue is a good entry point. Thereafter, you can walk up and down the canals across various bridges. For the Christmas festive period, there are plenty of lights on the bridges. And many of the houses along the canal are nicely decorated and lit up. All in all, a very pleasant experience.…

Very lovely area..... I wish I could have a property here. However, not sure why this is called "Venice Canal" ..... there are some canals but nothing like Venice with it's old placae and grand houses.

I love the Venice Canals. So peaceful and quiet. This place is so scenic and beautiful and is a joy to photograph. It's more Italy than L.A. The Doors hung out here back in the day. Come visit and fall in love with the Venice Canals. George Vreeland Hill
