I was super excited to be seeing the Venice Canals Walkway and was highly disappointed. There are some moments that are picturesque and some lovely homes, most if it just feels dirty and the water is foul. Some areas have quite a lot of trash...More

We had a lovely stroll in this area, really enjoyed the different houses, gardens and canals. Intersting history how it all came about. Also had a few nice chats with some of the people living here. Well worth a visit!

You feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else when you’re walking along the canals. It’s so beautiful and perfect for a post brunch walk.

When visiting Venice you have to see two things. One is Venice Beach. The second is the famous canals of Venice. While touring this area be sure to check out the beautiful homes located on the canals.

If you are in Venice Beach make sure you take a stroll on the walkways. So much beauty to see and lots to do in the area.

This is a lovely area to walk in. Must be amazing to live there! The canal area is very small and worth the hour or two of wandering around and admiring the many and varied homes located on the water.

The Venice canals walkway can be maintained better. It has stagnant water with over grown weeds.A few boats moored to the sides. The houses on either side are much prettier. It was nice to walk from one end to another. If the canal gets cleaned up,it will really...More

Much can be said about this unique little section of Venice. The thing to remember is that it is a stretch of homes you are walking through so I think one needs to recognize that the people living there must be feeling like they are...More

We thought it would be fun and interesting to walk the Venice Canals Walkway. NOT! While there are some interesting and a few beautiful homes along the canal, the canal itself is repugnant. The water was putrid and dirty, some areas of trash. Throughout the...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the
epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along
the boardwalk there are street performers and local
craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings,
souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of
visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting
enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders
do their tricks around the skate park. All of it

You could have a brief rest on the low wall of the Dell Avenue bridge. It is about the height of a bench. Also, further south on Dell, towards Venice Bl, pop into the park next to the ducks' area! Those are the options. When... More
