My 18 year old son and I decided at the last minute to indulge in an escapade to LA from Canada's North. We were welcomed by fresh fruits and juice, with two large smiles. Our bus was #9, driven by BJ. Who is BJ? BJ is perhaps the best guide one can get… why? Well, BJ is a stand-up comedian... More

This was an excellent tour. It really does last for about 8 hours, but it was SO MUCH FUN. I learned a lot about the different cities... nuggets of info that I wouldn't necessarily find in a tour book-- the guide we had, Jake, was a native and knew pretty much EVERYTHING, which he was happy to share with us.... Yes I live in LA so why on earth would I NOT want to see all of the hidden gems in LA! A tour is literally the best way to do it! It's fun and relaxing as you get an almost birds eye view of LA! From Hollywood Boulevard to Beverly Hills where you get to take a nice break... More

This is a very professionally run tour. A full 8 hours with time to explore Venice, Rodeo Drive, the Grove/Farmers Market, Griffiths Observatory, and Hollywood Blvd. In between stops, our guide Brian did a wonderful job filling us in on history, architecture, colorful people and tales. Thanks!

My wife and I made this choice last minute and couldn't be happier with the day. BJ was great and it was the perfect balance of seeing everything and not having to fight with traffic. I strongly recommend this tour as a day long experience!

i contacted ADiLA and made a last minute booking, received a prompt response and great service which made the booking a breeze. The hotel pickup was promptly at my hotel at 8:30am sharp for the ride to the tour start point where fresh fruit, juices were laid out. They even provided free ponchos for the rainy wet weather. The tour... More

This tour was well organized. It covers the major highlights of the city. The schedule is somewhat relaxed. Not A LOT of time at each stop, but enough to get an overview. Our driver, RAUL, was great. Very friendly and outgoing. If you only have limited time in LA this tour is a good option to get a general overview... More

My wife and I have taken the A Day in LA Tour on two occasions and have recommended it to at least 6 of our friends who were visiting from the East Coast. Both us and our friends have come away thoroughly enjoying the day. On the latest trip BJ was our guide and he was terrific, he was knowledgeable... More

WOW! What a fun day and a chance to see so much of LA! My husband and I were picked up from the Hollywood and Highland Subway stop early morning. (I wish we had known where we were, we would have walked down to the Chinese Theater and looked at the walk of fame). Our bus stopped at 3 more... More

The cost may push some away. However, it has great value. You get to see the best of the best. Plus, you get to relax in between. Driving around in LA as a tourist isn't the most enjoyable thing. This helps with that. As well, being brought to the top of Griffith is worth a lot too. I've recommended the... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
