This is my absolute favorite store!! Soap Plant started many years and has grown moved and thank goodness moved back. They have the best essence for making your own lotions and potions. They have books you would never imagined were written and it is a store you go when you need a unique gift. Not always for the ordinary but... More

Skip the Hollywood Blvd souvenir shops and bring back something weird and wonderful from here! I was sad i couldn't blow my luggage limit and buy a pile of books because there was a spectacular selection to choose from.

I was there for an art show... I didn't realize at the time but one of the Trump sculptures has been relocated to this venue. In addition to the massive amount of foot traffic for the art event, there was also of course a crowd there for the statue as well. The art show was completely packed but super interesting... More

This store is so cool! Really unique finds inside! The whole front of the store is a bookstore with interesting and unusual books. Lots of fun and wacky products in the back of the store. I highly recommend going here to check out all the stuff and purchase items you won't find anywhere else.

I am an artist and designer, and I LOVE this place! There's books for almost every pop culture art subject under the sun. There's an art gallery. There's weird chinese made plastic toys to buy for that hard-to-buy-for person. This place is inspiration, a gift shop, and a book store. I can easily spend hours looking at the merchandise and... I wish I could buy every book - not to mention the trinkets and toys and kitsch. Everytime I visit LA I make a pilgrimage to Wacko. It is over the top cool. The art gallery is the added bonus. I just love this place

Basically the most rad shopping experience I've ever had. If you like kitsch, lowbrow, pop culture, animal bones or the unusual, you'll enjoy spending time here.

You can spend hours here looking at the cool books, retro toys and other vintage stuff. Plus you get a great art gallery. Skip Hollywood and go here. This place is amazing. Friendly staff.
