I guess watching so many American TV shows and movies made me think this beach is going to look like some sort of tropical beach where everyone looks like Barbie or Ken. Well it did not happen, instead I saw a quiet beach with normal...More

Arguably one of the most iconic places in Southern California. It did not disappoint, the beaches and especially the pier was beautiful. Great food from Bubba Gump Shrimp and fun times at the arcade.

It was on a day tour but we could spend sometime at Santa Monica. There was huge number of tourists on the day we visited and there is lot of attraction as the association organizes various shows. Wonderful experpience.

You have the crowd and serenity at the same place. Walk on the pier and enjoy the street artists and food. Walk of the pier and enjoy the solitude pf Pacific ocean

...It's a bay. There's some beach (mostly overrated), commerce, and questionable-quality sea water. It's a place that people should love to say they've been to, but probably in retrospect don't care that they were.

Just about what I had pictured as we saw this beach. Great place to spend the day. Not too crowded today as it was a weekday but so beautiful.

Beautiful long and wide beach. Lots of free sport and exercise facilities. Nice places to eat and drink. Great place to sunbathe or swim.

Air Food will surprise you with true French food. Interesting menu and stunning flavours. Casual and reasonably priced too. One for true food lovers. It’s about 5 minutes walk or less from the Pier.
