The Hammer Museum, which is near the UCLA campus is a nice spot to view some interesting art work while exploring the Westwood area. The museum is free.

This museum is open to the public at no cost. Great contemporary artist showings. The permanement collection is small on display, but has some very impressive items. The ambience is wonderful. And the price is right.
