We had a great experience yesterday ad Universal Studios. Wait times were clearly marked throughout various electronic marquees around the park. My favourite attractions were the tram tour and animal show. Overall I saw and did almost everything on the map and had a lovely...More

The 6 of us traveled to Universal from Santa Monica using Uber for US$51 (left at 8.30am arrive 9.06am). We found it was cheaper to buy tickets online and use Uber. We started out doing the back lot tour which was good with the new...More

Universal Studios was average. It was really, really, crazy crowded so there wasn't a lot of room anywhere. If I were to go the are again i would go from the mid after noon to when the park closes because mid day the park is...More

I was pretty excited for my first ever visit to this film-city. Things that we see in movies and the things that we imagine, comes alive in this Studio. There are stages, screens, movie-sets, exciting rides and digital-depictions that thrills and enthralls all its visitors...More

Spent one day when temperature was 95. Though we waited in line for approx 20 - 30 min. at most rides, it went quickly and we were impressed with the very nice misting system they have set up throughout the park. So we were not...More

Usually I avoid booking though a third party, but it seems that booking the VIP tour through Viator is about $30 less expensive per person. Has anyone done this? What was your experience? I see you don't choose your time when your purchase the tickets. Are there restrictions on the time? Thanks!

We purchased our Universal Tix through Undercover Tourist and saved $30. You don't have to choose a certain date to go as long as you don't go on any blackout dates associated with the ticket. hope that helps.
Can anyone break down the parts of the VIP tour? I believe it is 6 hours with the tour guide? One hour is lunch. Are the rest of the five hours the backlot tour? Or does it include rides? Also, I've read that your tour group may be combine with other VIP tour groups. Any idea how big the entire group might be? Thanks!

Our group consisted of about 10 people. Part of the tour was the back lot tour, but the rest of the tour was lunch, rides and shows...the tour guide stays with you the whole time. It was great because she planned the day... More
