I am a local /born and raised .I have been riding bikes in LB for over 55 years..from my Stingray to carbon fiber, a handmade tandem and currently a Townie.I KNOW this path. With the new'/ "2 path system" and more users following rules, the bike path is much more fun to use.The Path had it's challenges..and many of the... More

You can ride this bike path from Downey down the L.A. River bike path, through Long Beach and south to Seal Beach. Nice wide path after the Aquarium, along the sand through to Seal Beach. Plenty of places to stop along the way to eat and shop.

You can take these paths from the Peninsula in the east through Shoreline Village, the Pike, and the Aquarium in the west, past the site where the boats embark for Catalina until you arrive at the L A River, where the... Rent at Wheel Fun Rentals (423 Shoreline Village Dr Long Beach, CA 90802) then ride the waterfront. It's an easy ride on a beautifully-maintained, paved bike path. Kids will love it if you get one of the three-wheel, side-by-side bikes and let the kids steer. If you're sun-sensitive the covered three-wheeler or the covered four-wheel family bike is perfect. The... More

This is a great path close to the beach with fantastic views. It can get a little busy at times, and parking can be a challenge at certain points. Most everyone is friendly and respect the right-of-way of others.

My daughter and I love to bike along the Shoreline bike/pedestrian path. It rides past the marina full of boats with views of the harbor and Queen Mary. We like to stop at Shoreline Village for Ice Cream or to poke in the shops. If you dont have a bike you can always rent one from The Bike Guy up... More

Enjoy a stroll, jog or bike ride along the Long Beach harbor. Great views, cool ocean breezes and plenty of stops for food and restroom facilities. Easy to reach and plenty of parking available. Another great Long Beach attraction!
