My wife and I toured the Queen Mary. We added the history tour, which was very interesting, but the highlight of the tour was our guide James. His humor and choice of words and tones was amazing! We got to dance on the dance floor...More
From the time the ship arrived in Long Beach it has never become a consistent attraction. Every management company (there have been several) thinks it has the plan to bring people to the ship. So far they have all failed. The ship is old and...More
The ship itself was great, and very cool, however the estate rooms are hideous. We booked a mini suite (A008) and what a tremendous disappointment!!! Antique and nostalgic are just fine by us, but this room was just plain old and not maintained on any...More
Did not know in advance of the variety of entertainment offered ! Lots to see and do.
The way they made a Winnipegger feel at home by calling the skating rink “True North” - fabulous choice!!

Poor dirty rooms suite, Restaurant over priced and wasn’t that good (Winston Churchill) Brass needs a deep clean. The whole ship needs a deep clean. felt ashamed that our ship was is treated so bad. Couldn’t use the bath and shower, walls had a hole.
This was our second time here for NYE, the first was in the late 90’s and had a great time. The ship was decorated for Christmas and included a ice skating rink on the sun deck.

Took an out-of-town guest and spent a fascinating afternoon. We took all three tours, hauntings with Cody, history of the ship and the drivetrain in the lower part of the ship. All the guides were very good, articulate and provided lots of interesting details. The...More
Our family was really looking forward to staying on the Queen Mary. My sons have fascinations with large ships, especially the QM and Titanic so they were thrilled with the prospect of staying over for a few days during Christmas.

We couldn't pass up on the chance to see this historical ship. Very cool to see inside this time period. The price was kinda high to get in. I didn't see any ghosts. One time visit was good enough. I only stayed just 2 hours...More
We stayed there over the July 4th weekend and I can only hope the service during a slow time is better than their "No Service" was for us. Hope they can give you a place to set your bags while you walk the ship.

My 15-year-old granddaughter and I went on the Glory Days tour and Haunted Encounters Tour. The Glory Days historical tour is very interesting for adults and older children...I'm not sure your young children would get much out of it but they would probably like walking through the ship with you, and you would learn some interesting facts. The Haunted Encounters tour is lots of fun, as long as your youngsters aren't afraid of ghosts.

Hi. There are several tours available on the ship, all giving different insights to life on board the grand old lady. The historical tour was very good, some keep you on the upper 3 decks, others take you too the engine room ECT,you can,in one visit do multiple tours. The tours are a timed to start and finish at particular times, if you go onto the Queen Mary web page you can ask about the tours. One good tip,get on board early, you can then go to the first class bar area, you can take a 14 yr old, have a drink, sit or stroll around and take it all in before the tour start time. An excellent choice as part of your itinerary.
