I've only been climbing for about a year, so I'm still a beginner. Amy helped a lot with my technique, and helped build my confidence! She was very responsive to my specific interests and concerns and tailored the session to work on the skills I needed to improve upon. We worked on lead climbing, setting anchors, crack climbing, top rope climbing, and rappelling...all in a fun 8 hour day! If you're a total climbing newbie, or even a seasoned veteran, I'm sure Amy can teach you something new!

My husband and I took a class from Amy to prepare for an expedition later in the year. After discussing our plans, we went over the aspects of mountaineering that we were uncomfortable with and skills we desired to learn. Amy went over all the safety, equipment, and techniques we would need for our trip. We learned a lot more than we expected and we were successful in our endeavors because of what we had learned from Amy. I would highly recommend Whitney Base Camp and Climbing School.

Kids learned all kind of climbing techniques, they made so much progress in half a day. Amy is truly amazing, so nice with the kids. My youngest son even did some mock up leading And what a better experience than climbing the beautiful Alabama Hills... The smile on their face when they came back was unforgettable.
