Although our scores were disappoining we had a great time on this intersting course. The layout involves lots of rolling hillsides, blind shots, strategically placed bunkers and greens with lots of undulation. It is in excellent condition despite the drought, a few bare sports but nothing that interferes with the game. The main negative are the "cart paths"; often felt like... More

I love this golf course! It is a real test of golf and in a great setting. Played at the senior rate - weekday at $55 and this is a great bargain. The course is in good shape, and just as tough as ever. Pars are a challenge, and bogeys + can be aplenty.

Played here for the first time after the holiday. Pros: uncrowded, beautiful views, wildlife sightings, tough greens, friendly staff, fair prices Cons: poor signage along the course and horrible cart paths! They need to pave or gravel the paths so it's not like a horse & buggy trail.....asked for a massage voucher from the starter lol

I wasn't certain what to expect at this public facility. I had read mixed reviews. I played the course with my wife on a California golf trip. The course has held a number of golf tournaments. It was the site of an LPGA event and served as site for a few PGA Qualifying School events. It also held qualifiers for... More

This is a really nice local course in Lompoc. Club house is very nice and food is good. Course is in good condition and interesting. Enjoyed the 18 holes.

This is one tough course. Golfers with high handicaps...be warned. The undulating fairways, deep and treacherous bunkers (one looked like a bomb crater) uneven greens and water hazards make this one of the most challenging courses I've played...mostly in Los Angeles area. Still, it's a lovely layout. Definitely worth another visit.

great holes, terrific views, extremely difficult. Rough is rough, lots of ways to lose balls. Negative, not real good direction to next tee-box, no carts paths so you get beat up big time driving a cart. course not really walkable.

Course has a variety of holes that make this a very fun experience but you must be accurate off the tee. There are a number of "short" holes that go straight uphill and play 2+ clubs longer .. and several tight driving holes!! Pick which tees you'll play from carefully as this course does play "longer" than the score card... More

We have played this course many times and we love the layout. The staff are welcoming. For the most part, this course does not have cart paths so you need to pay attention when approaching the green. The front nine plays easier than the back nine, but it's definitely a challenging course. The course is not in it's best condition... More

Very challenging golf course, but the view is awesome. Has undulating fairway, water hazards, up hill and downhill slope.
