What a beautiful place! They have cabins , hookups for Recreational Vehicles and spots for tents. Showers and bathrooms and a great pace to get breakfast or a burger , Jalama restaurant. A great place to escape for the weekend , beaches are clean and beautiful! Prices are reasonable for camping . Cabins are a bit pricey ,but worth it!... More

This is a super nice county park. You can Tent or RV here. The spots are hard to come by when reserving because of its popularity. The beaches are super nice, there is tar on the beach so bring old sandals or shoes. Dogs are allowed on the beach. There are nice pay showers and toilets. There is a small... More

You really have to want to go there to get there; it is a long and twisty road of about 15 miles. Pretty trip, very little traffic, but definitely a hike to get there. Considering that our regular beach (Surf Beach) is almost always closed because of the bird, we just don't think about the beach anymore because it seems... More

An interesting place if you are from the area or just want to explore the far corners of Santa Barbara County.

Look out for the wind it can get up high but when there is no wind the beach is absolutely amazing. Love caning here with a fire to roast Smores. Just have fun and let loose plus the shack that is there makes world class burgers that people flock from miles away

About 15 miles... not minutes outside of the awesome town of Lompoc....Due to remote access this State park beach is an adventure worth every minute of the 45 minute drive down a bumpy twisty road...but when you see the Pacific come into view 500 feet below you know you have arrived...over an Amtrack railroad crossing and down to the campground... If you want to go in the water do as the in-the-know people seem to have figured out, bring a wetsuit. The water, in July, is frigid. The day we visited there were no worthwhile surfable waves. The more adventurous boogie boarders got some good rides. The surfers - not so much. There's zero shade anywhere; the beach nor the... More

welcome to southern California where everything costs more than it should. nice beach, long drive on curvy winding roads. Santa Barbara county park. nothing even remotely close. one crowded store. some cabins, mostly RV spots and day camping. windsurfing is good because there is 40 knots of wind all the time.

Nice beach. It's a State Park, so bring $ for the entrance fee. They do offer a free 15-minute pass, which is nice. It's cool that there's a camp-ground too. Lots of happy people, puppies, and kids (and some drunk people). We didn't stay long (got the visitor pass) because it was CRAZY windy...which equals lots of kite-boarders! Very cool... More
