Very good Italian wines but you could not picnic there because of restaurant

Fun place to taste wines in Livermore. A good place to try some Italian varietals. There were signs up that picnics on their outside tables were not allowed, disappointing.

Our friends sons wedding and reception were held here. Just a perfect location overlooking the rolling hills. It was an outdoor ceremony with a perfect canopy of vines over the couple being married as the sun was slowly setting. The cocktail hour was served inside next to the courtyard. Lost of servers and never a line to get a drink.... More

Some people here are using this entry to review the brand-new cafe and meeting/venue site at the top of the hill (e.g. the three pictures now attached to this site are all for this brand new dining area). There is a separate entry for that on TripAdvisor. This entry is for the winery/tasting "shack" (going by the icon and original... More

Our daughter had her wedding at their pavilion in June and the staff, set up and complete service was as good as I have ever seen. Presentations, timing, control by the arranger was excellent. The outdoor setting was perfect & without flaw. The reception area was perfectly set up and managed without a hitch. I cannot recommend them enough. If... More

We had a birthday party here- the food was good and the service too, only bad comment... It was lunch time and it was VERY noisy and loud. Wish that we could have had a spot that was little quieter. I understand they have expanded to a lrger facility. Will have to check it out.

Went here with a good friend for an outdoor lunch. The server was wonderful, as well as the hostess. Prompt and attentive. The food however was terrible. Beware the "grilled steak tri-tips au jus sandwich" it is no more than extremely overcooked, tough, gristle filled roast beef. Not really a treat at all. The wine was good, view very nice.... More

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The meeting room is in a very nice venue. Bring all materials and items you need for your event. This is not like a hotel -- they do not have materials, projectors, etc readily available. The screen was a little difficult to see because the room has a lot of natural light. If you... More

I visited recently for lunch during the week. The service was prompt, the food was very good, and the restaurant was clean and warm. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The food here has gotten SO much better over the last 2 years. What a pleasant lunch place, either indoors in the small adobe dining room or outdoors in the garden. I love the Wine Country Salad with figs and chicken.
