The eastern Gateway to Yosemite, Tioga is a breathtaking, engineering marvel! There are beautiful views to the Sierra heading west and to Mono Basin traveling east. As this is a steep mountain road, please use turnouts if you are not comfortable driving the speed limit!...More

Gaylor Lakes hike, Pothole Dome, Lake Tenyaya, Olmsted Point - just a few things you don't want to miss while driving this picturesque road into Yosemite! Not very busy compared to other roads in the park.

Tioga road offers amazing views of the Sierra Nevada. You could spend all day stopping to take in the views or hiking. If I lived in the area this would be my go to spot every weekend for something new.

Take this ride across Yosemite Park and prepare to be amazed. The landscape changes through out the seasons based on snow levels and the melting of the snow pack in the summer. This is the land that feeds the beautiful valley waterfalls. There are several...More

The high pass roads are usually closed in November due to snow. Use the Big Oak flat entrance or the South entrance
